Body Designs employs 4 experienced, full-time tattoo artists who can work with both pre-selected catalog designs and original custom designs, as well as with a variety of different writing styles and languages. At Body Designs there is no tattoo that is too difficult, complex or large for one of our artists to handle.

Tattoos are forever, so chose your design carefully. Never chose something second best just because it is cheaper. If you do, most likely you will regret it later, wishing that you would have gotten the piece that you really wanted. NEVER place a tiny tattoo in a prime location. It can be a curse for an awesome piece in that location. Always get a tattoo from a professional… work with him.

NEVER, NEVER, get a tattoo from a scratcher!!! What is a scratcher? A scratcher is someone who is learning and most of the time they are learning on their own without any help from a professional. They may think their work is good. Shop around!!! Ask questions. A scratcher's equipment may or may not be sterile. What does this mean to you? This means that you are taking a big chance. You could get an infection or in this day and age you could be risking your life!!! Don't be a bargain hunter. Get the best for your money. It's your money, why waste it getting your bad tattoo covered, reworked or repaired. A scratcher is a part-time tattoo artist at best, and is not dedicated to the art full time. To them it is a fast buck; not a living. Quick bucks and deals do not pay the bills.

How do you pick an artist? Watch them work. Do they change needles and color and everything else between clients? Do they wear gloves to protect themselves? Do they have photos of their work? Anyone can buy equipment from a magazine; most professionals don't.

A professional tattoo is clean and safe with crisp lines and solid colors. Remember; a good tattoo is not cheap, a cheap tattoo is not good. Most professionals have a great deal of experience. The price you pay the artist that you select can make all the difference in the world. When your friends say; "Gee, that costs so much", just remember that you have to live with your choice the rest of your life. A great tattoo brings smiles and conversation while a bad tattoo brings regret and more costs.

Tattoos are like the people who wear them; large, small, all shapes and sizes. A great deal of the time they represent a part of your life, like a souvenir of a person, place or thing. They are personal statements and have been since the time of the caveman. Take the time and care in making your selection of both deign and artist.
